The will be held in Beijing from October 30-November 2, under the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the (ACWF) announced on October 27.
The Congress will review a work report delivered by the 11th ACWF Executive Committee, deliberate draft amendments to the federation's constitution and elect a new executive committee.
The gathering is of great importance and takes place at the moment when socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, according to the ACWF. It is a great event in the political life of Chinese women of all ethnic groups and from all walks of life.
The congress will hold high the banner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and rally women nationwide to follow the leadership of the CPC and strive for higher achievements in their workplaces.
The meeting will furthermore inspire women from all walks of life to make contributions to the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects; the building of a great modern socialist country; and, the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
