To promote the spirit of Chinese President Xi Jinping's speeches (in recent years) on conducting reforms of mass organizations, women's federations, at all levels across the country, have put a lot of effort into improving their work, since the 18th CPC (the Communist Party of China) National Congress was held in Beijing in November 2012.
The All-China Women's Federation () in November 2017 launched an activity, during which female delegates to the 19th CPC National Congress promoted, both online and offline, the spirit of the congress and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. By May of 2018, more than 347 million people have attended the 564,000 lectures, given by the delegates.
In 2016, the ACWF organized various activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the 80th anniversary of the Red Army's Victory of the Long March, and to promote the spirit of the speech made by President Xi on July 1, 2016, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
Given the ACWF's cadres' efforts to help, via the new media (including the websites, microblogs and/or WeChat) , women improve their ideological and political awareness, the federation's website recorded 363 million hits for the information about the novel activities.
The ACWF in recent years has conducted various activities to inspire patriotism and promote socialist core values among women. The activities have been well received.
The ACWF has also put a lot of effort into exploring ways to unite, via the new media, women to deepen the reforms of the women's federations, at all levels across the country. The experience of Zheng Ying'er, a resident of Beijing, is a good example.
By joining an activity launched by the ACWF via mobile app, Zheng was invited to ACWF's headquarters on the eve of the 2017 International Women's Day (on March 8). Her experience reflects the federation's efforts to expand its influence and keep close contact with women (to learn about their needs and wishes).
On the eve of the 19th CPC National Congress, which was held in Beijing in October 2018, the ACWF published a series of media coverage on the theme of revisiting families, visited by President Xi, in different regions of the country, to brief him on the families' good news over the years .
Following in Xi's footsteps, ACWF's cadres went to the frontiers, mountainous regions and rural areas to learn about the changes of those families. The federation's report on the families' happy lives, which was popularized via the new media, exerted a positive influence on people throughout China.
In addition, the ACWF has publicized information about women role models through various media. Since the 18th CPC National Congress was held, ACWF has commended 52 National March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetters, 1,594 National March 8th Red-Banner Holders and 1,011 National March 8th Red-Banner Collectives. The stories of the advanced individuals have motivated numerous women to make constant efforts to improve their work.
To further expand the influence of the outstanding individuals, ACWF has organized, since 2015, the women to share their experiences with university students, workers with enterprises and government organizations, as well as local residents, in an effort to promote women's sprit of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-independence and self-improvement.
Since the 18th CPC National Congress was held, ACWF has encouraged women to make achievements through a series of activities, such as the "Chinese Dream and I" and "To Make a Difference in the New Era".
Under the influence of the ACWF, the basic State policy of gender equality has been better implemented.
All this has shown that under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee, with Comrade Xi at its core, remarkable achievements have been made in Chinese women's undertakings.
